1. Authorities should not let Fallon Fox fight women because technically, she is a man. Since she was born a male, she is automatically not able to participate in woman based sports. She had an undefeated record until she was exposed of being a transsexual. i do not agree with her fighting in women's MMA because she was born much more fit, and with the figure of a male.
2. Transgender athletes might not have a "distinct" advantage, but they definitely have a clear advantage because there is a reason male and female sports are not intertwined. Males are built with different bodies and are much more broader then females. Even in Fallon's position, where she might not have a distinct proven advantage sue to her sex change, but it is too ironic for a transgender MMA fighter to be undefeated for as long as she did.
3.if i was one of her female opponents, i would not join the fight because the fact of the matter, is that it is technically a man against a woman in a fight.
4.it should not be allowed in professional sports.

The controversy going around the past few days saying all Boston fans are racist due to a couple racist remarks towards P.K Subban. Subban is one of the few African American hockey players in the NHL, and plays for the Canadians. Boston Bruins fans were found tweeting racist remarks pointed toward Subban and now everyone is assuming all of Boston is against Subban because he is black. It is not because Subban is black that were against him, its because hes on the Canadians and were in the playoffs against them, and Boston is known to be one of the most competitive sports cities in America. For writers and bloggers to say that Boston fans as a whole are racist, is ridiculous because Boston is one of the most diverse cities in New England and the only reason there aren't any African Americans on the Bruins is because there aren't enough who play the sport.

2014 stanley cup playoffs

the 2014 stanley cups playoffs are going to be very competitive. based on this years season, i predict that the Bruins are going to be the eastern conference champions, because they are probably the best team in the league and im a bostonian. i feel like the sharks are going to be the western conference champs because they have a good driving offense and one of the best goalies. the bruins are going to win it all because the bruins have been playing like champions all year and would not let it slip last minute. Boston is better anyways!

The automatic bids in the NCAA tournament is fair. The teams with the automatic bids are from certain conferences and these conferences are known to have the best teams, even if they might not have the best records compared to other conferences. There are easily better teams in other conferences who would have greater chance of winning the whole tournament, but its all a bidding system and if they do get elected to be in the tournament, they must prove that they deserve to be there.

           After the boxing final in the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, in which American Roy Jones Jr. dominated South Korean fighter Park Si-Hun with 86 punches to Park's 32, the judges awarded the victory to Park. This was a huge upset for Roy Jones Jr. and all Americans because it was clearly Roy Jones' win, but the judges and referees did not agree.   Finally, in 1997, an International Olympic Committee investigation determined that South Korean officials had wined and dined the three judges, all of whom were suspended. Park Si-Hun still remains the winner of that fight when he knows he was not the true winner. It seems like Park had full knowledge on this scandal because his reaction to winning the fight was not surprising to him at all. 
            A scandal like this should not be in a worldwide/ popular event like the Olympics because its an event to show who the best athletes in the world are, not for the simple fact of winning for national pride. The boxing scoring system was changed after this incident because they could not afford more scandals like this because it simply isnt fair.  

The trial for Sandusky can be contemplated for both sides of innocent and guilty. Sandusky's wife completely believes her husband is innocent and that it was all just a con for the money. She says that there is no way he could have been having kids in the house, where many of the boys claimed they were kept to be raped, simply because she was always there and never once heard screams. She also said that he probably had been taking showers with the kids, but not in a perverted way, but it was only the way he grew up. 

Sandusky is still claiming he is innocent and is willing to fit it as much, and as long as possible, but he still is trying hard to enjoy life, no matter the circumstance, his wife claims.

Norton high's basketball team was weak this year. they ended the season with 8 wins and 10 losses, and did not make playoffs. The team itself is not bad, and one of the captains James Loring, who was the scoring leader had a pretty good season. they are fully capable of scoring good and setting good plays up but they are not aggressive enough. They are not physical enough and it seems they are scared to go up for contact and draw the fouls. Coach Liberatore has been coaching for years and does good at coaching these kids but since we go against the same teams every year, they have probably caught on to his coaching techniques.

Aaron Hernandez, once one of New England's favorite athletes, now one of the most known gang-banger in america. Hernandez has had a very hidden thug lifestyle behind his NFL fame. He has been known around in Boston, and Providence hanging out with blood gang members who do drugs and shoot guns for a living. He has been surrounded by this since a teen and he chooses to involve himself with these people, even when he had full opportunity to leave it all behind when he went pro and started making millions. Hernandez is in trial for killing one of his close friends, and also many more murders that seem to all lead back to Hernandez. Hernandez had photo proof that he owns a gun without a license, which is also being used against him. the only person that can be held responsible is Hernandez, he deserves spending time in jail because he clearly is involved in a lifestyle that a NFL player should not be caught up in. The country looks at Hernandez as an icon, kids buying his shirts,  and yet he decides to stay involved with people who will do nothing but get him caught up, this is nothing but his decision and should take full responsibility. at the rate the trials are going for Hernandez, he is most likely going to beat the case and walk free, after all the controversy, there doesn't seem to be enough proof to put him away.

ITS SUPER BOWL WEEKEND! It all comes down to this last match up. the Seattle Seahawks are facing the Denver Broncos at Met Life stadium in NJ. This should be a good match-up between these two teams because they both have fierce offense's and cunning/ strong defenses. Seattle has the powerful Marshawn Lynch, who had the most rushing yards in the post-season. They also have the hard-hitting defenders Kam Chancellor and Bobby Wagner, who were top tacklers this season. We'll see how good they compete with Denver and Peyton Manning leading them into the game on Sunday. Manning is having a great season and wants to retire a Superbowl champ and will give his very all into this game. Peyton has the help of Wes Welker who himself is having a good season, and Demaryius Thomas with a career high season. The contest should be close but im predicting the Seahawks will come out the game as victors. Seattle gave off the least points against them in the whole season while Denver gave off over 399 points. it should be a close score but Seattle, in my opinion, should be the 2014 Superbowl champs! We shall see!

The article from "http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/07/us/ncaa-athletes-reading-scores/" tells us about how there are some athletes majorly in basketball or football who are not nearly academically capable to make it through college themselves. there are athletes who struggle to read and write, but yet theyre making millions of dollars because of their athletic abilities. I find this very unfair because there are many dropout students who could have possibly been some of the best known athletes today. there are always going to be talented people at things, the ones we know of are the ones tha pushed through school and excelled in that major leage of sports.
